LDS Business College is looking for a Creative Director who can conceive, strategize, implement and align marketing strategy with creative strategy. This is a multi-disciplinary position. The applicant must be able to create and direct projects from video, print media, web, digital presentations, social media graphics to digital graphics.
The Creative Director will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications and work in conjunction with our Marketing team.
Creative Director required skills
BFA in Graphic Design or BA in design
2 to 6+ years’ experience in Creative direction in both, in-house and agency
Proven success in managing creative teams
Portfolio of previous work that showcases best work
Strong communication and computer skills
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and previous UI and UX work are preferable
Excellent typographic skills
Creative Director required soft skills
Self-motivated, strategic thinker, and problem solver
An individual that thinks about the team before self
Willing to make things happen and passionate
Enjoys education and the blessings it provides to others
Creative Director responsibilities and duties
The Creative director will be responsible for developing and designing engaging print and digital collateral, web graphics and video production/direction, oversee LDSBC branding, provide strategic vision to all our visual communications and advertising efforts and lead our design student staff.
Oversees and manages creative for all communications
Involved on the strategy and ideation for all creative and communications products
Reviews and approves all creative before it goes to Director of Marketing and Communications for final approval
Manages and mentor’s student employees (Video and Design)
Responsible to advocate and implement the LDSBC brand implementation for all communications
Produce creative in the following disciplines: video, graphic design, photography, illustration and some animation
Works directly and build relations with all vendors (radio, digital marketing, print, etc.)
Deliver and present strategy/objectives/creative to internal departments
Draft creative briefs in partnership with internal departments
Manages and directs creative for all Social Channels and posts
Website UX and UI capabilities to be able to update, inform and continually improve user experience.
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
