LDS Business College is looking for an adjunct faculty member who can teach Social Media Marketing.  The successful candidate will have experience developing and implementing SMM strategy and managing real-world SMM initiatives/campaigns.


  • Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree in a related field. Candidates with a combination of a Bachelor's degree in a related field AND at least four years of relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+, Instagram and Snapchat.
  • Ability to define valuable metrics, KPI's and social benchmarks.
  • Knowledge of "ads managers" on various social media platforms.
  • Proven teaching ability at the college level and an understanding of collaborative learning and competency-based teaching is extremely desirable.
  • Ability to teach students how web properties intersect with social properties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills using the English language.


  1. Effectively teaches the assigned program objectives.  Uses the “College Learning Pattern” to teach relevant skills that have immediate practical application.  Initiates, facilitates, and moderates classroom discussions.
  2. Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.   Compiles, administers, evaluates, and grades student examinations, class work, assignments, and papers.   Maintains student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
  3. Mentors students as they determine career goals and seek academic advice.  Responds to student inquiries in a timely manner.

Worthiness Qualification

Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
